G é Eleição Geral: presidente, governador, senador e deputados. L é Eleição Local (municipal): prefeito e vereador. De 1933 a 1990 o TSE não publica cargo municipal, então esses anos são todos G.

The same office appears twice in the year a place voted on a different date from the rest of the country (because of a postponement, for example).

This is not a chamber. These are 5,555 city councils added together: the number measures how many city councillors the party elected nationwide, not a caucus that meets together. Each council has its own quotient, so there is no single quotient to show here. It appears on each city's page. The party at the election counts: anyone who switched parties after taking office does not change this number.

The most voted city councillor in each state capital. To see everyone elected in a city, open the city's page. The Distrito Federal has no city councillors.
