The dashed year didn't have this election here: it opens the closest office, written below.
G é Eleição Geral: presidente, governador, senador e deputados. L é Eleição Local (municipal): prefeito e vereador. De 1933 a 1990 o TSE não publica cargo municipal, então esses anos são todos G.
The same office appears twice in the year a place voted on a different date from the rest of the country (because of a postponement, for example).
In 2022, 1,035 state deputies were elected to the 26 state legislative assemblies and 24 district deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Federal District, according to data from Brazil's Superior Electoral Court (TSE). The largest caucuses were those of PL (126), PT (117) and UNIÃO (99). In votes, the party with the most votes was PT, with 13.4 million votes (12.39% of the votes, counting votes for candidates and votes cast only for the party label). The most votes in the country for state deputy went to Eduardo Suplicy (PT-SP), with 807,015 votes. In 2022, 3 party federations were in effect nationwide: Federação Brasil da Esperança (PT, PC do B and PV), with 155 elected; Federação PSDB Cidadania (PSDB and CIDADANIA), with 74 elected; and Federação PSOL REDE (PSOL and REDE), with 29 elected.
1,035 seats in the State Legislative Assemblies, split among 28 parties.
Elected seats, from the TSE results. This is the composition that came out of the ballot boxes, not the one the chamber had over the legislative term: anyone who switched parties after the election does not change this number. The count adds up those elected, without recalculating the quotient, so it matches the legal size of the chamber.
Each party by its total votes (candidate votes + party-list votes), including those that won no seat.
The most voted in each state, brought together only for reference. The seat is first allotted to the party (electoral quotient), and larger states have more voters, so the numbers cannot be compared directly.
Registered voters: voters who could vote. Turnout: how many went to the polls. Abstentions: how many stayed away (registered voters − turnout). Blank and Null: those who turned out but did not choose a valid candidate. Valid: the votes that count for candidates (turnout − blank − null); percentages are calculated on them.

Result updated by the TSE. After the election, the TSE updated the status of 5 candidacies in this race. In Amapá, Cel Flexa (PODE) joined the list of those elected, and Kaká Barbosa (PL) left it. This page already shows the most recent status published by the TSE. Source: TSE, open candidate data.
