Special election for governor in Roraima, held on Jun 21, 2026. The votes add up the entire state.
The election for governor of Roraima is at a legal impasse arising from the special election held in June to choose an interim term after the removal from office of former governor Antonio Denarium. Although Arthur Henrique (PL) received an absolute majority of the valid votes, his candidacy is still awaiting a court decision over an alleged failure to meet the deadline for leaving incompatible posts, which has kept him from taking office so far. Brazil's Superior Electoral Court (TSE) suspended the certification and the review of the appeals to await a final opinion from the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on the rules for leaving office. As a result, the state remains under the interim administration of state deputy Soldado Sampaio (Republicanos), while the legal uncertainty over the temporary administration continues alongside the preparations for the regular general elections scheduled for October of this same year.
One candidacy on this list had its votes counted by the TSE outside the total of valid votes: this is how the TSE publishes the votes of a candidacy whose registration was not listed as approved in the TSE data. The decision may have changed later, and there is no way to know from here. It appears with its votes, because the votes were cast, and without a percentage, because that vote total is not in the denominator. That is also why the percentages of the others do not add up to 100%.
